While it is possible to use Centova Cast on a wide range of hosting services -- even some shared web hosting services may work, depending on the restrictions they impose -- we strongly recommend the use of a dedicated server or VPS for stream hosting.

With a dedicated server or VPS, you are able to maintain complete control over your server, and are able to install Centova Cast using the 'root' account which will ensure that it is installed in the most secure and efficient manner possible.
