Centova Cast v2.1.1 Released

Centova Technologies is pleased to announce the immediate availability of
Centova Cast
v2.1.1. This is a minor update which addresses a number of issues in v2.1.0 which affected users of non-English media files, and resolves a number of other minor issues with the 2.1.0 release.
The following is a complete list of new features available in Centova Cast v2.1.1:
Major new features
- Added configurable character encoding support by popular demand
Minor new features
- Modified media library updater to check file times/sizes and update ID3 tags if the file has changed
- Added option to re-read ID3 tags from existing (known) media files (Update Media Library, Perform full library update)
- Archived log limit can now be configured
Improvements
- Completely reimplemented character encoding system for seamless support of non-Latin character sets
- Updated Centova Cast to internally operate exclusively in UTF-8
- Modified ID3 library to prefer ID3v2 to ID3v1 when both are present
- Modified ID3 library to better handle non-Latin characters and UTF-16 tags
- Updated diagnostics script to work around a problem with certain CPanel PHP-CGI configurations
- Improved installer's detection of the correct PHP binary
- Updated Pure-FTPd extauth integration to support unlimited disk quotas
- Updated Pure-FTPd extauth integration to deny logins for accounts without streaming sources
Fixes
- Fixed bug in which creating 'unlimited' streams would fail due to lack of transferlimit/diskquota value
- Fixed bug in which duplicate genres might be created after multiple library indexes
- Fixed several issues reported with new IceCast seamless live-tune-in support
