System Requirements (Server)

Centova WebSupport is designed for Linux-based servers. The requirements include:

Webserver:	Apache 1.3.x with PHP v4.3 or better
Database server:	MySQL v4.x

Other requirements:

Under Apache, mod_gzip must be disabled for the Centova WebSupport virtual host.
PHP safe mode must be disabled.
ionCube Loader (included with Centova WebSupport) is required**.

* Centova WebSupport should theoretically run under any Linux distribution or UNIX-like OS (such as FreeBSD). Debian, Red Hat/CentOS, and Fedora are officially supported by Centova Technologies Inc.

** Centova WebSupport uses ionCube encoding to protect and accelerate a small portion of its code. Only approximately 15% of the Centova WebSupport source code is encoded. ionCube Loader is bundled with Centova WebSupport, and in most cases, requires no installation or configuration under Linux.
